Council Seeks to foster full participation of the entire
parish in the pastoral life & mission of the parish and of the Universal Church.
It is solely a consultative body with the role of advising and assisting the
Pastor in areas of pastoral concern. Membership consists of the Pastor, the Parochial
Vicar, Deacons, Religious Education Coordinator, School Principal and six lay
members (3 elected and 3 appointed by the Pastor) who serve 3 year terms.
Meetings are convened by the Pastor at least 6 times a year. For more information,

Ministers of the Eucharist Men and women selected by the
Pastor & commissioned by the Diocese to assist in distributing Communion at

Ministers of the Word Men and
women who proclaim Sacred Scripture at Masses and who symbolize the increased
active laity role in the celebration of Mass. For more information, please contact

Hospitality Provide service at all Masses, including seating
of parishioners, taking up the collections and assisting at Communion. Volunteers

boys & girls, who have completed fourth grade, and who are interested in serving

Training sessions begin during the season of Lent and new servers begin serving

Committee A committee chosen by the Pastor to provide
financial advice concerning investments, the annual budget, the financial report

Tuition Committee Parishioners chosen by the Pastor
to assist in dealing with all matters pertaining to school tuition: school tuition
policy, the collection of tuition and the resolution of problem cases. For more

of the Word with Children Children ages 5 and up
who wish to participate are dismissed at the beginning of the 9: 00 & 11:
00 Masses and taken to a special place in the Church Hall. Readings of the day
are taken from a children's lectionary so that the children might understand God's
message. The Psalms and Alleluia are sung with easy child- oriented music. The
children will return upstairs at the Offertory of the Mass. Members of the parish
who have attended a series of preparation classes are leaders of this program.

Music Ministry
Cantors
- Help to direct the congregational singing during the weekend liturgies not served
by other music groups. An ability to read music is required. For more information,

Adult
Choir - All parishioners who enjoy singing are invited to join the choir
in singing on alternate Sundays at the 11: 00 AM Mass, from September to May.

Joyous Sounds Guitar Group - All parishioners are
welcome to join the group in singing on alternate Sundays at the 9: 00 AM Mass.

in grades 3 to 8 are invited to sing at the 9: 00 AM Mass every other Sunday and
practice for one hour and 15 minutes once a week. For more information, please

Groups Bereavement Ministry Members of the parish
who provide assistance to anyone in the community who is experiencing the grieving
process after the death of a family member. For more information, please contact

Counseling This service is provided through Catholic social service Outreach
Program. For an appointment, please contact Catholic Social Services at (610)
269-4060. Widowed Persons Support Group These
women and men meet the first Monday of the month at 10: 00 AM in the Parish Center.
They help each other to cope with the death of a spouse and to learn to live on
their own. Periodic group outings are planned. For more information, please contact

Family Group
Meets in our Rectory Meeting Room every Wednesday at 10: 00 AM. Al-
Anon is a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience,
strength and hope in order to solve common problems. Their purpose is to help
families or alcoholics by practicing the 12 suggested steps of AA, by giving comfort
to families of alcoholics and by offering understanding and encouragement to the
alcoholic.
Other Services and Groups Aid
for Friends A ministry to bring home cooked meals prepared by parish volunteers
to isolated homebound individuals by volunteer visitors. If you would like to
volunteer to become a cook, visitor, or driver, please contact Joanne Dearlove

the Sunday 9: 00 AM and 11: 00 AM Mass. If interested in volunteering, please

Bibs Swing bibs for parish baptisms. For more information, please

with Santa A Saturday, early in December, Santa visits all the little
children in our Church Hall. He takes the time to visit with each child and have
his picture taken with them. The children enjoy light refreshments, plus a treat

692-2216. Casseroles for 'My Brother's House'
Parish volunteers prepare casseroles for the homeless men at
My Brother's House in Philadelphia, and on the last Sunday of each month we deliver
the frozen dinners to the shelter. A freezer is located in the Church Hall to
hold the casseroles until the delivery date. Casserole tins & lids are
provided and located in the Church vestibule. For more information, please contact

Tree This parish Christmas Tree is provided for the homeless and lonely
who otherwise would have nothing for Christmas. We are given names of homeless
persons from Project H. O. M. E. in Philadelphia and children from Mision Santa
Maria, Madre de Dios, along with their age and a special request for an item(
s) they would like for Christmas. This information is put on an "Angel Name
Tag" and hung on the tree in the back of Church in December. Parishioners
are asked to take the angel tag, shop for the item listed and return the gift
with the angel tag on the package and place under the tree by the week before
Christmas. The gifts are then taken to the shelter where they are distributed
to the homeless individuals. This is a wonderful family project. For more information,

Friday Presentation Men and women parishioners, in a moving and
dramatic presentation, relate how Jesus touched them and how His death has

Mass for the Hearing Impaired Mass
is celebrated in our Parish Center Chapel on the first and third Sundays of each
month at 10: 30 AM. A welcome is extended to anyone who is deaf and would profit
from this Mass, which is conducted with a simultaneous use of both voice and
sign language. The group socializes after Mass. Monthly religious prayer and study
sessions for deaf adults are also held. Monsignor Paul Dougherty is the Celebrant

Outreach Ministry A Parish Ministry
to address the needs of our older citizens. To do this, we identify, contact and
provide assistance to Seniors of SS. Peter and Paul in concert with other local
church and government social agencies; supply volunteers to educate and inform
Seniors of available resources, and actively show love and concern to those in

Hospitality Committee This committee has periodic meetings for the
purpose of welcoming all new parishioners, making them feel an integral part
of the parish, and encouraging them to get actively involved in our parish. For

Picnic An annual event held in conjunction with the feast of Saints
Peter and Paul on the last Sunday in June. The entire parish is invited to join
in fun and games held here on the Church grounds from 1: 00 - 5: 00 p. m.
Parish volunteers are always needed to help plan for this exciting day for
the entire family. We have pony rides, amusements, many children's games, face
painting, various sporting games and lots of good food and fun. For more information,

Prayer Chain Are you praying for a very special intention? Would

Box A wonderful way to help the poor through donations to various
charitable organizations throughout the year. Every two months we have a special
local charity for whom we collect money to help them reach out to those in
need. We have been very successful in raising money for these charities. Our small

Life Program A program of witness and service to secure dignity
for all human life, born or unborn, young or old, weak or strong, in whatever
social or physical condition. Politically active to obtain a Constitutional amendment
to protect life at all stages, they write and work to inform legislators of pro-
